Sweden

Eastern 2005. Joachim, Stefan P., Martin, Stefan G., Desy and I decided to visit Susi in Uppsala. So we did a 5 day long travel up to Sweden. We visited Stockholm with all its famous buildings and museums (including the Vasa-Museum). We went also to the Skansen Zoo were we saw some elks (the only ones on the whole trip).  After a night in Uppsala we drove with our rental car to Goteborg. On the way we stopped also in a small city to taste some local cider: it was horrible. We visited Goteborg’s harbor and went to different museums, the best one was the Universeum. We checked out also the nightlife and I have to say that Swedish people really drink a lot. When we drove back to Stockholm we stopped at a lake were we had some food. The lake was half frozen and the atmosphere and the landscape were just amazing. Seen that we had to change flight in Frankfurt we decided to do a daytrip to the ancient city of Trier. Even with rain this city has a really nice flare and there are a lot of spots to see. Our favorites were the Porta Negra and the Arena.
