We don't just brew beer or create liqueuers we also cook a variety of meals. From self made pasta to strudel, from peppersteak to pumpkin-cream-soup we try out everythink. It's like a social event when we prepare this meals...we gather and everybody get's involved...and after the work is complete we eat and eat and eat. In my opinion cooking is an art, you need to get the feeling. The first time I prepare something new I just look how other people do or I read a recipe, then I try it on my own. The second time I maybe still need help and follow the rules. Then I just do it out from my mind: I don't care about the exact quantities - I follow the "qb" rule. "qb" stands for quanto basta, which in Italian means "the right quantity"! |

Pumpkin-cream-soup
Very delicious soup made from pumpkin. Fry some cutted onion in the pot, add some celery. Peal and cut the patatoes and carotts. Clean the pumkin and cut it into peaces. Add water and the cut vegetables to the pot. Add salt and pepper. After 20 minutes blend everything and add some parsley. Heat some cubes of (old) bread in a pan. Serve the hot cream with the bread on it.

Crêpe
A very simple meal with egg and flower. In a bowl add a 3-4 full spoonw of flower for each person. Add salt and milk and mix it until it is a fluio dough. Now add the eggs and mix again Heat a flat pan and add a little bit of oil. Add enough dough to cover the bottom, if necessary distribute the dough with a spatula. After a cuople minutes turn the crepe. Fill it with whatever you want: tomatoes and cheese, ham, vegetables or jam, chocolate... Then fold it and eat it.
